The Fertility-Stress Loop, Explained
Trying to conceive can create the exact stress state that makes conception harder. Here is how to break the loop.

The body's safety check
Reproduction is a 'surplus' function. When the nervous system reads chronic stress, under-eating or poor sleep as danger, ovulation quality is the first thing quietly downgraded.
How the loop forms
Each unsuccessful month raises anxiety, which raises cortisol, which further suppresses the signals that drive a healthy cycle. The effort itself becomes a stressor.
Breaking it gently
Eat enough — chronic restriction is a fertility blocker. Protect sleep between 10pm and 2am. Trade one intense workout a week for a walk. Track cycles for information, not judgement.
Partner health matters equally; sperm quality responds to the same 90-day window of sleep, heat, alcohol and nutrition.
The 90-day window
Eggs mature over roughly three months. What you do today shows up in the cycle three months from now — which is why patience is part of the protocol, not an afterthought.
