Why Your PCOS Isn't Reversing (Yet)

Most PCOS plans fail not because women lack discipline, but because the root driver was never identified.

Why Your PCOS Isn't Reversing (Yet)

PCOS is not one condition

Two women with the same diagnosis can have completely different root drivers — insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, post-pill recovery, or adrenal stress. A single generic plan cannot serve all four.

The insulin-driven pattern

This is the most common form. Cravings, belly weight, skin tags and dark patches around the neck are the clues. Here, meal structure and strength training matter more than cutting calories.

The inflammatory pattern

Fatigue, joint aches, headaches, gut trouble and skin flare-ups point to inflammation. Gut repair, sleep and removing personal trigger foods do more here than any supplement.

The stress-driven pattern

Normal insulin markers but irregular cycles, poor sleep and constant overwhelm suggest the adrenal route. Ironically, eating less and training harder makes this type worse.

What actually changes things

Identify your pattern, then give the body twelve consistent weeks. Cycles usually respond before the scale does — and that is a good sign, not a failure.
